MaeLyn is not only my partner that I’m excited to spend the
rest of my life with but my best friend. When MaeLyn and I started hanging out
I knew right away that it was going to be a long term relationship. We started
with all night phone calls and making trips to see each other during the week.
As we spent more time together the more I knew she is the one for me. There
wasn’t a time that if we could be with each other we weren’t. If she didn’t
come to see me I was making the trip to see her. As we were making trips we
both became close with each others friend and family. As I was getting to know
her and who she is she was taking the time to do the same about me.
On a Friday afternoon MaeLyn took a chance and decided to
see what I was so obsessed with, as all of you know it was the trip that
changed our lives and everyone that is reading this also. She is there when I need a simple laugh
session and has done nothing but be my foundation and the biggest pick me up
when I needed one. I knew we were a
strong team but when we were so young in our relationship and she decided to
continue to come see me in the hospital weekly making 8hr round trips I knew
she was every bit as amazing as I thought she was. Every week as she would
leave Mayo on Monday night I would tell her goodbye and I love her, I thought
it might be the last time I get to say that.
Reading this today you know that she did indeed continue to
come back week after week. I have put her through hell, pissed her off, annoyed
her and loved her unconditionally every day sinceJ.
MaeLyn is the greatest thing that has ever happened to me,
the timing of her entering into my life couldn’t have come soon enough.
Everyday I wake up and fall asleep beside her I feel blessed. I can’t say
enough about who she is as a person and what she is to me, MaeLyn is my
inspiration in life. MaeLyn makes me a better person, is my better looking
half, accepts my faults, loves me for me, and continues to give me butterflies
when we kiss. With her I feel complete, I am blessed to call her my Fiancé and
excited to make her my wife.
